Welcome back to Change The World Wednesday ... our effort to improve the world while challenging ourselves to try something new.
Before we get started, I'd like to introduce you to our brand new banner. Isn't it beautiful? Our friend, Argentum Vulgaris, kindly designed and created this banner especially for us. A huge THANK YOU to AV for this kind gift!
Okay, let's get started ... If you're new to these weekly challenges, please click HERE for the details.
Not only did Argentum Vulgaris give us our new banner, he also gave us the inspiration for this week's challenge. AV is the host of Tomus Arcanum ... a blog where he talks about, among other things, "Eco-Crap". His posts entertain and teach. If you've never visited Tomus Arcanum, you're missing out!
Here's this week's challenge:
A cornerstone of living green is reducing our consumption of ... well ... everything. So, this week, we going to reduce the amount of toothpaste we use. Yep, toothpaste ... it's so easy to squeeze that tube and apply way more than necessary to our brushes. So this week, use no more than a pea-sized squeeze of paste.
What do you think ... are you up to the challenge? I know that you are!!
As a reminder, we love it when you post about our challenges so ... if you share this challenge with your readers, please let us know and you'll become a member of our Honor Society. Thanks, everyone!
WE'RE CHANGING THE WORLD ... ONE CHALLENGE AT A TIME!

Reducing consumption - perfect! I love Burts Bees new line of toothpaste (and they have one with fluoride if you are prone to cavities) - not only is it natural and not weird-tasting, it sinks into the toothbrush rather than sitting on top. I like this because it is actually USED -half the time when we do the big swath of toothpaste it falls off or gets spit out (TMI? oh well).
ReplyDelete(Also - pick a natural toothpaste - no Crest/Colgate/etc! One thing my dental hygienist said to me - don't put any toothpaste in your mouth that you would be afraid to eat. A little dramatic, but think about it - you are ingesting a little of it each day.)
Hi SF, I have done my post can I go out and play now? LOL, Don't be stupid, I am off back to bed, it's 4am...

We must learn to use till the last drop and also recycle as much as possible. The environment is polluted and there is too much that is heading unnecessary fr the bin.
