4. Random.org determines the featured site each week.

Before we meet this week's featured blog, I'd like to point out a new page on Reduce Footprints ... Special Offers. Clicking the tab, located at the top of the blog, will take you to a page which contains discounts, freebies, etc., on Eco-friendly products ... products which I am comfortable promoting. We currently have two fabulous deals for you: 1) A 15% discount from our very own Alicia who, along with her husband Alan, owns Eco Natural Soap ... 2) A discount on Frederick Lee Brooke's newest novel and a chance to win a signed copy of any of his books and a $25 Amazon gift card. I'm in the process of working with other companies to bring you exciting deals. Visit the page to read the "fine print" for our first two offers and check back often for upcoming specials.

Did you know that you can grow food from food scraps? Our featured blog will tell you what you can grow and how. Maybe you have kids and are interested in topics like non-toxic diaper cream or safe, earth-friendly toys. Perhaps you are looking for a way to get rid of bugs and insects in a safe, Eco-friendly way. Our featured blog, Jen and Joey Go Green, has that information and more. I've been following Jen and Joey for a long time and consistently find useful, pertinent content. For example, 101 in 1001 is a list of 101 actions which Jen plans to accomplish in 1001 days. In a series called 2011 in 2011 Jen and Joey attempt to get rid of 2011 items in one year ... and no, they aren't talking about things, like food, which will be replaced ... they are removing items which take up valuable space and which won't be replaced. It's a fascinating look at simplifying a home. I recommend Jen and Joey Go Green. They do their homework offering readers solid, factual information.
