I love running the trails at a local park. It really makes you appreciate nature when you are out there, all alone. Lots of times when I run there I'm just in awe of nature.
ReplyDeleteI love going on walks or running outside. My husband actually gave me the idea to organize a run/walk within our community to help raise awareness about littering, pollution and keeping our city safe! I will let you know if/when it happens! First thing first is getting a group together to go clean up litter on a local walking path we found one day!

My best palce in Auckland is Western Spring. A natural lake now full of aqua birds , fish and eels.
ReplyDeleteI've just gotten back from a friend's cabin up in the Sierra Nevadas, where I spent a few days in near silence, listening to the melting snow drip off the eaves, breathing clean air. It was wonderfully refreshing. I'll blog about it soon!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful suggestions and must be adhered to even through the stress and busy schedules of to days life. There is a lot of pollution and ill health from it...there should be some steps taken to improve the condition.
ReplyDeleteReflection, meditation, and being aware of how incredible mother earth is, is how we will be able to connect with the earth and our fellow humans. We must connect this way, in order to do our best to protect our planet.
ReplyDeleteMeditating outside is more powerful than anything. I love to walk in the early morning hours when it is quiet and the world starts to wake up. It's my favorite time of day.
