We enjoyed being part of a worldwide festival (!any excuse for a party!) and a festival of non-waste is especially exciting.
I hope this becomes an annual event, sort of a secular Lent. We really can get by with less if we practice it, in a joyous spirit. It's not really getting by with less so much as getting by with better choices.
