To All My Followers ...

I'm always so happy when Reduce Footprints gets a new follower. And ... I like to return the favor by visiting a follower's blog. But here's the thing ... the new "follow" format on blogger doesn't automatically include a link to one's blog. So, please ... if you'd like me to visit your site, please include a link to your blog either in the links section of the follower settings or by leaving a comment on Reduce Footprints with your address.

Thanks ... and I'll "see" you on Monday!

  1. I don't know what's going on with the Follower option. I keep losing my followers. I've lost 6 or 7 in the last month. Maybe I'm just too boring, but I'm hearing others say they're losing their, too.

  3. Hi Barbara ... I've read that blogger is merging followers with friend connect and in the process they have made some followers invisible until the merge is completed. Blogger says that the followers aren't really gone ... however I lost over 10 people in one day ... and haven't seen them return. Now I'm finding that I can't click on new followers to check out their blogs unless they include a link when they follow ... which isn't automatic. It's a little frustrating. :)

  5. I lost some followers too...I figured I was just boring them to tears. One new thing that I discovered was igoogle. I made it my home page and you can subscribe to peoples blogs and then add them to the igoogle page. Every morning when I look at it, it's like reading a mini newspaper and I can easily see what's new every morning. Yeah Google!! :)

  6. What annoys me is when I can see a blog has followers but I can't find the 'follow' button to join in.

And doesn't having followers make you feel a bit like the leader of your own cult? Hehe.

  7. Hi Sf. :) Yes I was a bit disappointed to discover that I could no longer click on a new follower's avi to take me to their blog. And I agree with Adam in that the box is a bit ugly. I don't know, maybe it's like all new things and we might get used to it in time. I'll certainly check out what E. Michelle says about igoogle. That sounds good.
